She grew up in the Czech Republic, where she completed her Master’s degree in Geography and Biology Teaching for Secondary Schools. She lived in the Netherlands afterwards, where she did her PhD research in international migration of highly skilled and students. In Germany, she worked on international projects in popularisation of science, innovation research infrastructure and global development educational activities. She enjoys travelling and exploring life with her children.
